A Cutting-Edge Project by Generation-e

A Cutting-Edge Project: St. Luke's Health Headquarters

St. Luke's Health, a leading private health insurance provider in Tasmania, recently took a significant step forward with the development of its new headquarters in Launceston. At the core of this initiative was Generation-e, driving the integration of advanced technology to optimise the use of meeting spaces and enhance collaboration.

The 5,500-square-meter headquarters is an architectural masterpiece, exemplifying sustainability and carbon positivity. Constructed from engineered timber beams and locally sourced wood, it reuses elements of the previous structure while emphasizing sustainable timber from both local and international manufacturers. This design aligns with St. Luke's Health's commitment to eco-friendly practices.

A highlight of the project was the seamless integration of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams, ensuring an optimised experience for meetings and collaboration. The state-of-the-art meeting rooms were specially designed to boost productivity and ensure all spaces, including quiet areas, were effectively utilised.

Key Features of the Project:

  • Seamless Hybrid Meetings: The key boardroom and training rooms are fully equipped with advanced technology to support smooth and engaging hybrid events.
  • Optimised Space Utilisation: A calendar booking system manages all meeting and quiet spaces to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Advanced Technology Integration: Cutting-edge solutions from brands like Yealink, Neat, Shure, Sennheiser, Samsung, Crestron, and Yamaha, all certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms, were deployed to enhance the user experience.
  • Comprehensive Quality Assurance: Rigorous testing and quality assurance were conducted at Generation-e’s Tullamarine lab.
  • Detailed Plans and Services: Full plans and outlines were provided to ensure all services were executed flawlessly.

Feedback from St. Luke's Health has been overwhelmingly positive. They praised the professionalism, capability, and adaptability of the installation team, particularly given the challenges of a new build.

This project is a prime example of Generation-e’s expertise in deploying cutting-edge technology solutions. The success of this partnership has paved the way for further collaboration, as we work closely with St. Luke's Health on an Adoption and Change Program to boost the usage of Microsoft 365 and Teams for meetings
